How do I get started?
Download the Connected Caregiver app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store, then create your account when opening the app for the first time.
What are medical alert devices?
These include at-home systems and wearable devices enabling seniors to alert emergency responders during falls or emergencies. Options range from neck pendants to watches with help buttons.
How quickly will Connected Caregiver alert me of a problem?
Alerts are sent immediately upon detecting emergencies like falls, missed readings, or results outside target ranges.
Can I choose what smart devices I need?
Yes, Connected Caregiver offers 4G-enabled smart devices. Add them via the "Manage Devices" section in the app.
I forgot my login password. What do I do?
Click "forgot your password" on the login screen to receive reset instructions via email.
How do I get a replacement if I broke my device?

How do I set alerts?
Select "Tracking" from the footer menu, then configure specific tracking cards and threshold alerts through the bell icon.
How do I set my thresholds?
From "Tracking," access the gear icon to activate tracking cards and customize threshold values for each metric.
What type of alerts do I have access to?
Customizable alerts include thresholds, missed readings, falls, SOS button presses, motion detection, geofencing, battery levels, and step counts depending on your package.
Safety Monitoring
How do I change my Safety+ pendant to use a belt clip?
Twist and pull the silver clip at the top to remove the lanyard, then press the belt clip onto the device back until it clicks.
How does fall detection work?
The pendant detects falls and announces the event. Hold the call button to cancel or allow connection to emergency specialists.
How does the emergency button work?
Press and hold the call button until the light turns blue to connect with a specialist who can dispatch emergency services.
How do I clean my device?
Weekly cleaning with a soft cloth on the gold contacts removes dirt and debris.
What are the emergency monitoring coverage hours?
Services operate 24/7 for continuous emergency support.
How do I define who will be alerted in emergencies?
Tap the "Care Circle" icon in the app's top right corner to add members and customize their alert preferences.
Prompter Pillbox
How do I load medication?
Open the Prompter like a clamshell to access 14 independent compartments. Load all medications for each scheduled time into one compartment.
How do I know which compartment contains my medication?
Label compartments using included stickers or a dry erase pen corresponding to your medication schedule.
What if I missed my scheduled medication time?
The device flashes red for 10 minutes, and you receive configured alerts via text, email, or push notification.
Can my Loved One receive a reminder?
Yes, reminders can be sent via text, email, or push notification through the Connected Caregiver app.
Can I be notified of missed doses?
Yes, configure missed dose alerts in the "Tracking" section or while creating medication schedules.
How do I connect my Prompter?
Load three AA batteries into the device and plug the Bluetooth hub into an outlet within 15 feet.
What types of medication can be used?
Pills, capsules, and typical pillbox items work. Liquid medications and syringes are not supported.
How many pills fit in one compartment?
Compartments can hold 15-20 large capsules.
Is this covered by health insurance?
Unfortunately, Prompter is not currently covered by Medicare, Medicaid, or standard health insurance.
Why is there a subscription fee?
The fee covers the device's 4G cellular data plan and ongoing service costs.
Can I travel with my Prompter?
Yes, bring the Bluetooth hub. Schedules occurring while unplugged won't be recorded.
What do the flashing colored lights mean?
Green indicates scheduled medication time; yellow indicates reminder time; red indicates missed dose.
